Dad arrived late Tuesday night and on Wednesday, November 21st, we went to dinner at the Tamarind Tree.

Friday Mom, Dad and I drove to Kirkland to visit Cathy and her family. That night, Bill and Kate drove up from Astoria, Elaine drove down from Anacortes and we all met Bill at Café Presse for dinner and then Poco Wine Room for dessert.

On Saturday, before Doug’s birthday celebrations, the men and women split up for brunch.

The day after Doug’s birthday, Sunday, November 25th, we drove to Edmonds and met-up with my cousin Kevin and his family and my cousin Claire and her family for brunch.
