Monday, September 3rd was Labor Day. Carol and Maureen hosted an impromptu potluck dinner. That evening, a spectacular lightning storm moved across the sky south of downtown Seattle. While the bolts of lightning were not always visible, the clouds were lit-up almost constantly for 30 minutes.
