On Friday, April 24th, I drove from my hotel in Hollywood to the Silver Lake neighborhood and stopped by Echo Park. Then I headed on US 101 to I-10 East towards San Bernadino. After an hour of sitting and not moving because of an accident, I got going again. I called Brian from a California Welcome center before stopping in Cabezon to see Art Bell’s dinosaurs. The next stop was Ruby Montana’s Coral Sands hotel in Palm Springs. I met-up with Brian, David and Ruby and we went out to lunch at the Ace Hotel. After a nice steak dinner with Mark and Jimmy, I met Ruby, Brian and David at the newly renovated Riviera Hotel. After a glass of wine and people watching, I went to the Tool Shed and had a nightcap on the way home at the Ace Hotel.
